You’ve heard it before, probably even done it. A “post” online, or by mail. Well, the actual origin of the word, “post” is an interesting one. Centuries ago, people placed printed items such as news, ads etc. on fence and building posts. Then people would read “the post”. This was long before the newspaper came along and drastically changed how people found out about things going on in the world.
We now use it to place any information in a public forum, whether online or off, such as discussion/message boards, Facebook, etc. With early mail service in Europe, mail was placed on a post. Today in our country, we still do that whenever we place our mail in a box on a post. more…

Apparently, the company that makes Motrin pain reliever put out an ad recently which not only offended moms all over the country, it also caused a huge viral video and blogging storm as well!
Moms everywhere fumed and ranted about how the ad offended them, but it also made them angry that the company continued to run the ad on the Motrin web site, and thought that their inability to quickly react to the chatter taking place in the social online networking universe made the moms feel like more…
