This is one of my favorite cold-weather recipes, for when you just want some tasty comfort food that’s filling and cheap.
Since I have an abundance of potatoes in my pantry and it’s trying HARD to be spring, yet still not quite all melted up here in Minnesota, I decided I’d make it again this weekend.

This weekend, I had the pleasure of learning how to make lefse from scratch, at my mom’s kitchen. Mom’s friend Mary came over and taught us how, from her husband’s late mother’s family recipe, which is as close to “grandma’s’” as we could get this holiday season.
